Today Sophie is Ten Months Old. She crawls like a pro, she pulls herself to standing on the coffee table, sofa, my legs, etc. She says Hat, and often she says it when looking at an actual hat. long time
argh! I must get back into the habit of posting here in LJ! Sophie is doing great, has 1.5 teeth, sits up on her own, and is improving her upper body strength, which will facilitate crawling. Her core strength is AMAZing, and her legs are also very strong. She's eating pureed solids, including proteins (like tomato chicken pasta) and is really ( Read more... ) -

I know I've been terribly absent. I'll try to be better. Sophie is doing great, today is her 6 month birthday. Dr.'s apt tomorrow, we'll find out how big she actually is (~20 lbs?) and other exciting things. She is mostly taking solids with aplomb, at this point, if not delight. For those who like to know these things, Sophie seems to be right on track size-wise. My last three or four visits to the mid-wives I was measuring a little smaller than average. At the first visit, I also hadn't gained as much weight as they like to see. I happily increased my calories & protein, and they're not concerned about weight gain any ( Read more... )
