I was at work, and the clock hit 6:00 PM, and my body went, "Time to feel shittier now!"

What is it about the evening that sucks so bad for illness? Bah. And also feh!

Here's to hoping tomorrow morning and afternoon don't suck horribly!

I called off again today. I was still feeling very cruddy and I figured working until 11:30 tonight wouldn't do me any good.

Usually, when I get a cold, it starts in my nose and then moves into my chest. This time, though, it skipped my nose entirely and jumped right to my lungs--which does happen but is far more rare. I apparently got that this evening.

I slid off of the road on the way home onto the side of the road. My car ended up almost perpendicular to the road/guardrail. I was passing a truck when road slush got sprayed onto my windshield. I started to slide and then whump into a snowbank.

One of the most adorable things about Keira, among many many things, is watching her sleep. It's almost unbearably cute.

She's also wonderfully well-behaved, (super) intelligent for her age, learns new things so quickly, rarely cries, loves new people, etc.

And the neat thing? This, in no way, makes me want a kid.

I love being an aunt.

We got a George Foreman grill with changeable plates for Christmas from my parents. Mmm, waffles, grilled meat-stuffs, and quesadillas. We tested it out with waffles this morning. WAFFLES. Yum.
