Sweety Pie

Jan 07, 2009 21:25

Yesterday night I finished watching the first season of Pushing Daisies. I know I'm horribly late and that everyone has seen the entire series twice by now, but I thought I'd give my opinion all the same. :D

The Pie Hole. As in *Shut your* but one sweet whiff and people usually want to open theirs )

I KNOW, RIGHT?

And lets not forget aunt Lily and Vivian! The female characters of this show really kick ass.

As you well know, Ned owns MY SOUL. He can stuff his hands in my pockets any time (and yes, I did mean for it to sound that dirty). There really are no words for how incredibly cute the guy is and how much I adore him. My favourite moment of him still is in the first episode, when he tries to explain to Chuck that he still really diggs her ("I used to - when I lived next door to you - I had a crush - I was in - you … were my first kiss.") And the look he then gives her... I die every time. Also, the man knows how to work a tux ( ... )

He owns everyone's soul with that cute puppy face of his. I love the he's always awkward when it comes to expressing his feelings for Chuck and how easy it is for her doing the same.

Also, the man knows how to work a tux.
The man can work everything, so it would seem. Just when you think he's just a tall guy, you start to notice his arms (they're HUGE!). As Hugh Laurie would say- Love that body.

I loathed Chi McBride as Vogler in House. To me, he's one of the most evil villains on television these last couple of years. But Emerson is just the complete opposite of everything Vogler is (except the money part, probably) and he's really a great actor.

In this interview I saw Anna and Lee were also commenting on the amount of cleavage shots. Is it because the show also wants to attrack male viewers?

HOW COULD THEY CANCEL IT? IT'S A FREAKING FOREIGN FAIRY TALE!

YAAAAYYYY. I LOVE PD. 8D

I love like every character ever. I didn't like Olive in S1 but all the episodes in S2 make me love her more and more every episode. BUT NOTHING BEATS MY OTP. OMG NED AND CHUCK ARE THE CUTEST THINGS ALIVE.

AND EMERSON IS JUST LIKE, 'HELL NAW!' AND WE LOVE HIM.

I'm so glad you're getting into this show, I'm just sorry that it's ending. D:

I love it when he goes "OH HEEELL NAW". :D

I heard that they cancelled the show before I started watching and I'm completely in the dark is to why they would stop making it. I mean, there are so many rubbish shows on and they don't get cancelled, do they? LOSERS.

I'm really upset about it. D: It was because the ratings dropped so dramatically (partly due to the strike and partly due to the fact that people who tape it aren't counted as watching it though they are trying to figure out that problem).

I know, right?

They really should invent a Chuck clothing line, it would be huge!

AH THE CLOTHES. What is it witch Chucks and a+ retro outfits. Going to watch this now.

I really liked Miss Austen Regrets! Olivia Wilde is amazing times two (and a Newnhamite!!) and it is totally refreshing to see something about Jane Austen that isn't just a romcom.
