Saw this over at nila_rena's lj. I'm always looking for new fandoms, books, bands to fall in love with and I know my flist has impeccable taste, so by all means knock yourselves out.

Post this in your journal and have your friends recommend things to you for the new year ( Read more... )

I've heard about Les Chansons d'Amour! It's supposed to be amazing, so it's definitely on my To Download list.

About Skins: tijsmans gave me seasons one and two so will check it out one of these days. Also, I'll check with last.fm about embracing my inner white girl (that cracked me up!)

And whatiworetoday2 can alternatively be called whatiwHoretoday2, seeing as some of those girls are complete picture whores. :D

Thanks for recommending!

Oh, and Pictures for Sad Children is weird, but funny and sad all at the same time. I quite like it.

Next time I see you, you're gonna lend me that book!

You're right, puppet animation freaks me out. Thanks for remembering. :)

I fucking loved the Alex picspam. I ended up saving some twenty pictures. o.O And the Squee Consortium is a great community, thanks for introducing me.

I will definitely read The Shadow of the Wind because I've heard so many positive reactions about it.

Do you mean the Much Ado film of 1993? Because that one I've already seen and it was quite adorable and lovely. There's nothing like a young (well, younger) Robert Sean Leonard in a Shakespeare play! ♥

Damien Rice is love, I agree.

I hadn't heard about Spaced but I'll give it a go when I find good download links.

And as of today I'm a huge fan of picspammy so thanks for the tips!

Oh, I hope you do get to the book! It's one of my all time favourites.

Yes, that is the one I mean! Glad you like it. :)

Spaced is just so clever and hilarious.

Hi!
This actually has nothing to do with your post, but I was wondering if you have any other suggestions for fics regarding merlin (merlin/arthur) I've already read the ones you suggested in an earlier thread, but do you have some new ones?
