EAT FOR ME. Will do! Though I will probably regret it afterwards.
And take pictures of just like everything okay. Knowing me, my NY picspam will probably be as random as a cow on Wednesday (?) so there's going to be lots and lots of pictures of everything and then some.
By the by, how did your creative writing thing go?
Let me know when you will be driving down Route 66 and I'll come with. We can rent like this old and beaten up pick-up truck and the Kerouac audiobook to get in the mood. :)
just historically relevant to my people. What are you, Moses? :D But it sounds like a really cool and original idea to visit the scene. I'll check with the sistahs and les parents.
Good luck on your exam tomorrow! Have a lucky Merlin icon. ♥
OMG I'm so jealous!!!! It's such a wonderful city - you'll love it!!! I hope you have a wonderful time - and how wonderful that all your family is going!
Go see a show on broadway, definitely!!!! Go to the Guggenheim or the Met! Errr, possibly take a free ferry ride to Staten Island!!! Walk around a lot!!!:P As for things to eat - eeeh, I hardly know:P
We were planning on taking the free ferry ride! Supposedly, it offers a much nicer view on the Statue of Liberty than the organised (and expensive) ferry.
And I would love to see a Broadway show! Like Mamma Mia or something, though I don't think my dad would appreciate it. :D
Hehehe, well I don't recall whether it's better - but it's definitely great!!!! And well worth the time!!!!
Maybe you could bribe your father or something:P:D
Uhhh, I just realised you should get deli food from somewhere - I seem to remember there were quite a few places where you weighed your food:P and a lot of it was really tasty:P
HOORAY! I adore New York City. You should definitely see a show (musical or play), explore the Metropolitan Museum, and walk through Central Park. The Natural History Museum is also wonderful, as is the Brooklyn Museum (which is smaller than the others, but has some really interesting exhibits). Also, John's Pizzeria has really good inexpensive food and is really pretty inside, as it was a church at one time.
Thanks for all your wonderful tips! The Natural History Museum, a Broadway show and Central Park were already on my list, and the Metropolitan and Brooklyn Museum will definitely be considered.
Hey, that pizzeria actually isn't too far from where we are staying (40th street) so thanks for the tip!
