Finally, after weeks of anticipation I went to see Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince last night. I don't know how you guys feel about it but I really really liked and possibly even loved it. What follows is an admittedly very random yet enthusiastic report.

When Harry and Ron were talking about the respective merits of Hermione and Ginny (skin, apparently, who knew?) and then quickly decided to go to sleep, was anyone else thinking "WANKING TIMEZ!!!!"?
THIS. I loved that scene- and when they decided to go to sleep, my mind actually went, "Silencing charm! Closing of the curtains! WANKING PRIVACY, U NEEDZ IT."

and there she is sitting. That shipwrecking hussy Nymphadora! I think my brain purposely tried to destroy that part of HBP or at least tried to push it far into my unconscience, because I got one hell of shock.
Yup! I think perhaps the shock has to do with Tonks not actually being at the Burrow at Christmas, in the book. Because that's chapter sixteen (which I believe is called, rather aptly, Christmas at the Burrow) and has Remus staring wistfully out of the window while listening to Stir My Cauldron, Baby, aka the Songfic!Chapter. I would like to kill Steve Kloves for making the pairing canon this far ahead of schedule

Teenage!Voldemort was soooooooooooooooo chubby cheeked and teenage-y. He had a whole "pinch my cheek, I'm adorbale!" look around him.

But you forgot one important fact that I will never leave out of any HBP summary/review I ever give... Helen McCrory.

Chubby Voldemort I can live with. Leaving out the good stuff I can live with too. Watching how they ruin the focus of the book... Difficult but I'll manage. But introducing Cruella DeVille?! D;
