My father didn't have very many heroes, but Steve Jobs was one of them. Apple has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I had so much happiness playing on generation after generation of Macs starting with the 512Ke. Listening to, among other things, Chariots of Fire.

He was a great man.

Sad to hear - Jobs certainly pioneered plenty of workable, interesting ideas and was a real leader in tech...had an interesting life, too! Read an article where he said a calligraphy class he took partially inspired his aesthetic at Apple. That, and meditation in India...and he was an entrepreneur with a company of his own at 21! RIP Steve Jobs ;(
