I've had another of those moments today where I realize that I'm not a child anymore.  I certainly feel like one though.  It's hard to remain 'childlike' withough being 'childish' and I don't know if I've mastered the balance quite yet.

I learned a very important lesson last night.
I should not dance.... ever.
And one should not partake of certain things when soooo much is on their mind.

Rhombus.
Bowtie.
Webbed webs, tangled tangles.
I was never good at untying things.  
I wish they made velcro for relationships, I trip on strings.

Recent events have made me feel not so good about myself.
I am a doormat, if you didn't know already.  Feel free to walk all over me.
Why is it that people try to get to know me, only to see how far or much they'll get, and then wash their hands clean.

My very responsible friend toted me to the psychology department's computer lab tonight, for the second time in a row.  So here we sit, done with the assignment, but too comfortable to leave just yet.  We are pj clad and I'm freshly washed which means I have no makeup on and my hair is quite disastrous.  We are definitely in our element.  I love ( Read more... )
