But why did NONE of you see fit to inform me that Robin McKinley has another book out? I mean, I know that she and I haven't been as close since that whole Dragonhaven episode. And discovering just how boring her life is through her blog didn't help. (Thank God for editors!) But still! We were close once! Old time's sake! That sort of thing ( Read more... )

Well, you do know that there's a new Vorkosigan book out from Bujold, right? I have read one chapter so far (over lunch today), and I'm already all OMGZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!

I did. Did you hear that the CD in the book has pretty much every other Vorkosigan novel!?!?!?

It wouldn't have occurred to me to tell you on LJ, actually... I didn't think you were still around, although I'm delighted to be proven wrong. :) Also I can't get my hands on _Pegasus_ and would be very jealous if you could (kidding).

Halfway through _Cryoburn_ now, too. And I did in fact not only load the entire series on my Kindle, but traded it around to a bunch of friends; Baen was correct that that CD means I will share the gospel of Miles.

Pegasus is out on Kindle, so I plan on downloading it whenever I'm ready to start reading it.

I hear that the CD doesn't include Memory. They forgot it. Oh, irony!

Oh, true. I should have clarified that I'm waiting on libraries. :) If I wanted to buy it, and I very well might break down soon...!

That *is* ironic. I think I can see how it happened; they included the omnibus editions rather than individual books, which makes sense from an efficiency standpoint, but _Memory_ was never reprinted in any of those. Oops.
