Oh. My. God.

This absolutely sucks. DC101 is good in a lot of ways, but they don't have quite the same feeling that HFS did.

I can't imagine any of the DJs hanging around for Latino Classic Country. *shudder* We have MZQ - that's enough friggin' country music for anybody, dammit.

WTF??!

The Junkies are moving to Afternoons on JFK in about a week, no clue about any of the other DJ's

And apparently they felt that the white 15-30 demographic was shrinking and therefore did not deserve it's cultural icon any more... *very bitter*

That's fucked up.

We lost our best heavy metal station several years ago when it was bought by some Christian group so they could get it off the air. That really pissed me off. Ever since we've been stuck with the same second-rate station we've always had, where it seems every DJ has the exact same playlist. I haven't regularly listened to the radio since.

They did it to appease the "Growing hispanic community" I hate it when bloody bean counters ruin bastions of my childhood.

I even heard jokes that they were going to chage the HFStival to HFStiva.... I makes me want to bash skulls together. >

ASS!
I hate when a good station is removed.
Satellite radio is looking better everyday now.
