Maybe an error, but if it is it's a very common one! Don't beat youself up over it- I think it's pretty natural.

yeah, i'm not really beating myself up about it. fair enough it might not turn out to be the greatest plan in the world but given the same situation again i'd do exactly the same thing anyway. also, it was really nice goddammit! things had been so weird between us just before we broke up that i think i'd kind of forgotten how ace they'd been before.
