Oh goodness, dolls!

For some reason I decided to go look at some dolls.
Usually I quickly scan the dollyboard and think "Boring, fish-face, boring, kill it with fire, boring" (seriously, there are a lot of boring sculpts out there) but today I checked out Dollzone (so I could look at Beetta whom I adore.) and found that they are moving in a new, crazy, and awesome

I'm not sure if I'd call Jeremy fish-lipped really. He reminds me more of a particularly haughty and contemptuous elf, sneering in piteous revulsion at base and uncouth Man.
Or something. Nice ears on him either way.

I can see that, too! I just have a problem with the droopy mouth, it always looks weird to me.

It's super clever! And they sell human ears and arms as optional parts so you can normal up your freaky ear-headed boy if you need to. I hope some people on DOA get him and spooky him up.

Those dolls all look like terminally ill children to me. The dead, red-rimmed eyes and lips...deathly white skin ...lips that look red with infection. Like a baby raised in a wet cave or something. I mean, I've seen some that were cute in a kind of evil vampire kind of way (pale but not sickly/albino), but most of them look like they're dead or close to it. *shudder*

I actually love the sickly look... I don't know what it is. The consumptive look is big with me. In fact, all my dolls are named after diseases.
There are some really cutesy looking dolls out there if you look, they're just not my thing.
