I have (not-so)recently become totally obsessed with kids books. I've always loved reading kids books, but now there is just something in them that compels me to learn all I can about writing and drawing for kids. i was a really big fan of alexander and the terrible horrible no good very bad day. i also loved harold and the purple crayon and goodnight moon.
i still love harold and the purple crayon.
a slightly older kids book, i first read it in 3rd grade and got my 4th grade teacher to let me do it with the class for the last 20 minutes of every day for a while is called the westing game by ellen raskin.

all the bernstein bears books.

I can't remember the title, but it's about this town where all the weather is food, and all the food comes from weather, and everything is fine until enourmous mashed potato storm clouds rise from behind the mountains and a huge pancake falls on top of city hall.

as a kid i loved the ramona quimby series of books by beverly cleary, i related alot to her, even my mom loved those books.
me and my bros also enjoyed the bunnicula series and i liked some of roald dahl books and judy blume.

there are soooo many slugs here. omg!! once i was on the phone with alex and he suddenly started screaming all freaky like "ahhhhh, there's a slug climbing up my leg" and then he dropped the phone so all i heard was him running around screaming. it was pretty scary. ;-)

i miss your dad too. He was a great guy. I'm glad you have so many good memories of him, like of silly voices. also slugs are super cool, so i'm totally going to go look that one up.
