So yesterday I braved night buses (and nearly got stranded in Glasgow for my troubles) and departed tropical London to attend the second taping of Tonight's the Night.
Again a very nice and detailed report. Love your descriptions of suits and dresses and everything else. I'm not quite sure why they actually do film out of order, though? Is there a reason? Why not just let the show run as it is? When watching it first I thought it was a live show.
I would imagine that they film based on the availability of the individuals in question. Michael Bolton ma yhave been available last week but not this week (think he's back home now judging by comments he posted on his blog), Lesley Garrett available this week but not next etc.
Glad you liked the report. The suits are fab - I loved the red one.
The suits are very shiny and bright. I love the little sparkle trim - it looks awesome on them. This is the episode that will have him dressed as a flight attendent which they've already released which is very funny.
Oh yes despite my ineptitude at travel got back perfectly safely. Glad you're enjoying the reports.
Another fabulous report - love all the detail you're giving us on costumes, side banter and so on - next best thing to being there - it's like wearing those TW lenses *hugs you for being so wonderful* xxx
That'a an incredibly sweet offer - thank you I'll take you up on that if you don't mind. Always nice to know there is someone I can call if I get stranded!
To be fair it was my inate stupidity that caused the problem not anything else. I'd booked the wrong bloody date back. Can't really blame the bus companies for me being a total moron. I will be playing with the buses again this weekend. They're just not comfortable at all and I'm only 5 ft 2. On the other hand can't really argue with the cheapness and if I am going to be daft enough to drag myself up there most weekends it needs to be cheap and cheerful. Plus I'm probably being too Barbie Princess about it - people travel by bus all the time. I'd prefer a train but they cost over £200! Travel is just obscene in this country.
I love that he called them frocks. I think I was just mesmirised by the flashing red sparkly strip on the red jacket - it kept twinkling appealing at me. The green one is very green. I like green but I'm not too sure about it with his colouring - maybe a little draining. Still they're certainly colourful!I woudl agree the blue one suits him best.
