bike riding might in fact be bliss. i went for a 17 mile bike ride today along the beach. it was so incredibly wonderful. it was gorgeous out, and i was just cruising and listening to music. i don't think i've ever gone for that long. i would have kept going, but the bike trail ended. i can't wait to go again tomorrow

I know. I'm ready to be back. I'm having trouble getting out of here though. I was planning on going back on Sunday, but then i won't get to say goodbye to my family. So i think i'm coming home monday morning. I take it that you're back already? can't wait to see you. we all have a lot of catching up to do.

Back since Sunday night. I left Jo'burg on the 10th, but was stranded in London for several days b/c of industrial strikes @ British Airways. The flipping baggage handlers went on strike; I am told that my luggage may have ended up in Bejing or some such nonsense. Do hurry home.
