So today I was reading the bible and I felt like God was seriously telling me I need to respect my parents more. I know I probably should but it's hard because I feel like they seriously hate me and because they allowed me to be abused when I was little and they never treat me like an adult

you should be lucky to have parents who LOVE you so much...I mean, they care about you so much that they are willing to pay for someone to take care of you, eventhough you are old enough to take care of yourself! Consider that they aren't doing it to humiliate you! why would they want to waste money just to do that? and...at least you have some company when they're gone...

oh...and I'll pray for Courtney, who knows?, you might end up friends afterwards...when my cousin had surgery, I talked to him A LOT, and we conneted like friends...
