so, it has been one whole month sense my last post, but that post was only stating that i was working on a paper... as were the 7 before that. the last post i wrote about something actually happening to me was on Feb. 11th telling everyone i got into GWU. so, i figured it was time to update. seeing as so much has happened sense then, i think i will

You know, my first thought on seeing the picture of Alaska was, "That's not how you chop wood!"

no... it makes you smart. i have video footage of him cutting that piece of wood, and it comes flying at me and almost hits the camera.

Well, that's not actually why the way he's cutting it is a problem...flying wood is a natural side effect of chopping wood.

The problem is that he has the piece of wood on its side. If he had it set up length-wise, then he could possibly split it in one stroke due to splitting apart the grain. Which, actually, probably wouldn't fly at the camera...in my experience, the wood just falls to either side of the chopping block.

well not that this could be more interesting, but i was cutting kindling and so i was supposed to do it that way. for splitting the large blocks i stood them upright. i'm guessing when you were younger you played those games where the drawings had 20 things wrong with them (ie a car with no tires) and you had to identify them. and lauren is a dumbass.
