If you are a full time student then you need to stop it right now. I'm telling you, part time is the way to be. I'm taking Spanish 201 and Psych 332 (statistics), I neither like, nor am I moderately proficient in these areas. yet somehow I have not had one tear-filled breakdown in the three weeks school has been back in session. drop half your ( Read more... )

I took 201 with Messick. She was much better about that - she understood that we were not fluent and not going to be fluent by the end of the semester.

Heh heh - I feel the opposite, but obviously I have a different situation. Now I'm all "MUST BE FULL-TIME STUDENT." Part-time (and part-time only) was getting me nowhere slowly. Perhaps one day I'll be beguiled by part-time yet again...probably sooner than I think, heh.

yeah. that's generally how i feel about it. but i only need those two classes to graduate. but after being full time for so many years, including summer and winter sessions, it's a nice semi break.

the most valuable phrase in a spanish class like that is, "Come se dice ____ ?" that was every other sentence heard in my last year of high school spanish.
