Lyrics Fanfiction Challenge

I've done it again.
I've gone and gotten bored.
Blame all the places that won't hire me just for the summer.
So there's a new challenge and yes, darks_nightsky, I expect you to participate, and I will make you write during AX if need be. You can thank ____janicon in advance for the banners and visual_angst for gift art.
I know, I'm a lyrics whore.
The Challenge: You sign up. You receive a set of lines from songs randomly selected by an assortment of computers and playlists. You write a fic. You send me a link. Simple, no?
The Nitpicky Details and Procedures:
I'm setting no limits this time. Which means:
-no word limit
-no fandom limit
-no pairing requirement
-no character requirement
In other words, you're free to write about anything you want, without telling me in advance. I'm hoping this will reduce the pressure and encourage more people to actually finish a fic. However, I would ask that you provide the fandom and character details when you submit the finished fic.

The weekend of June 3, you will receive a set of 3 lines in the email that you gave me. You are free to pick from any of the three lines, and use it however you'd like in the fic--but again, I'd like it if the line, as I've sent it to you, appears somewhere in the fic. Not required, but nice.
I want this to be as low pressure as possible, so don't take the winners thing seriously. As it stands, winners will get a pretty banner, and the first place winner will receive a fanart gift from visual_angst (details to be worked out at a later date). Fics will be judged by impartial judges (non-participants) on an overall basis of style, concept, creativity, etc. Fandoms/pairings/characters will have no bearing on judging.
Dates and Deadlines:
June 3-4 : Initial challenges are sent out
July 28 : Absolute last sign-up date
August 4 : Fics are due
~August 19 : Winners announced
Sign-ups are continuous, and challenges will be issued as I receive them after June 4. Winners may be announced earlier or later, depending on the availability of the judges.
Extensions will be granted on an individual basis if necessary.
The REAL Challenge: Getting people to participate. I can only do so much, you know... So I'd appreciate it if you ran rampant and spread the word.
