He wondered vaguely if love was supposed to be like what the shoujo manga Sakura liked to read made it out to be-if so, he had to get cracking on those chocolates, flowers, and sappy lines ASAP.

He never seemed nervous about anything, always approaching new or potentially embarrassing situations with a smile and eager eyes, but he didn’t want to ruin this particular first.

Yukito is glad that Syaoran doesn’t know how much it pleases Touya that his nephew likes to see Uncle Touya and Uncle Yukito because they give him better toys than daddy-but that’s only because Touya insists on raiding every toy store in Tokyo before visiting.

Someone once asked Fujitaka if he was disappointed that there would never be a wedding portrait for his son; in response, Fujitaka turned the framed pictures on his desk around, one of Sakura and Syaoran at their wedding, Sakura radiant in her white gown and veil and Syaoran handsome in his dark tuxedo, and another of Touya and Yukito, dressed in jeans and shirts, laughing playfully, hands intertwined, eyes not even looking at the camera, but at each other, and said that one was just as beautiful as the other.
