21. Discovery
In retrospect, he supposed it was a good thing that it was his father instead of his sister coming home from school early who caught them half-naked and kissing passionately on the couch-and thank goodness it wasn’t the brat or the plushie!
22. Desire
He thought maybe there was something wrong with him, because while he enjoyed sex with Touya, most of the time all he wanted was to have Touya’s arms wrapped protectively around him, because that was when Yukito’s whole world felt right.

Snow piling up outside and the winter chill it brings are forgotten as they settle on the couch, blankets spread over their laps and mugs of hot cocoa in their hands, television flickering, barely illuminating Touya’s arm wrapped around Yukito’s shoulders.

It’s not his fault, he tells Touya, he’s a growing boy and he needs to eat, but Touya still isn’t happy about not starting anything before Yukito’s had his midnight snack.

Sap just isn’t his cup of tea, but sometimes when he wakes up in the morning and feels Yukito’s warmth beside him, he thinks he might understand why they say some people are like dreams come true.

Late at night is the only time that Touya can see Yue’s sharp wakefulness in Yukito’s sleeping features, and he can’t help but wonder if Yue is lonely-he, at least, would like to know the Moon Guardian better, but the angel-like figure remains silent and withdrawn.

It took several days of steeling himself and all the courage in his system, but that still didn’t stop him from blushing the first time he touched Yukito intimately-and Yukito’s arms around his waist and fingers slipping lower didn’t help his face any.
