When he sees couples hanging all over each other as they walk, he thinks that they must not be certain of their love, otherwise the immediate present wouldn’t be so important, and he quietly takes Yukito’s hand in his.
32. Mistake
There’s no mistaking Touya’s fingers, Touya’s skin, Touya’s breath and soft whispers of nothing and everything as they rouse him from his deep, pleasant slumber in the interest of something else.

She likes it when her brother plays the violin for her or the children, but she fondly thinks that her brother’s sweetest music is his laugh as he and Yukito playfully fight over who gets the last piece of cake.

Touya reassures him that he’ll never make him cry, but as Yukito watches him sleep, he is seized by the guilty fear that one day Touya will realize that there’s someone better for him, and Yukito will have no choice but to let him go.

Luckily, Yukito’s insistence that he and Touya have sex on the night of their anniversary overrides Yue’s foul temper, and Yukito knows that once they get started, Yue won’t be able to sulk in a corner of his mind for long.

Like an adoring puppy, Yukito eagerly awaits his coffee breaks, hoping the next one will be the one that Touya decides to visit him with an an-pan and coffee-and since Touya comes to every break, Yukito is never disappointed.

Every time Touya grumbles about the devil wings-designed by Sakura’s friend, of course-he has to wear for this ridiculous picture, Yukito saunters by, flicking one of his wings in Touya’s direction and looking slyly at him over it, and Touya smirks as he thinks that his angel has his own devilish streak.
Extra 11. Dance
Learning to tango with Touya is certainly interesting, keeping their dance position close as they begin the five-step pattern again, but Yukito thinks that he prefers a different kind of dancing all together.

Whenever they sit on the roof to watch the stars, Touya is eternally thankful that he knows the beauty of flying over the sleeping, lit-up city, wind whistling through his hair, basking in the moonlight and clouds, their hands intertwined as they dip and twist.
