In order to further postpone me actually doing anything productive (writing fic, making icons, RP-ing, updating communities, doing research, thinking about this presentation for my interview, etc.), I'm going to see if I can meet some of the people that comment on this journal

ok info about me -
name - Lis/Drex
live - UK
Favourite food - hmmm... at the moment i am on a banana kick hehe
If a tree in my garden started talking to me I'd see if it could take me anywhere (this is in reference to the magic faraway tree by enid blyton)
I love disney films too, especially Little Mermaid and Lion King.
Ok I admit i am intrigued as to what made you chose the characters you play in Halfmagic? You play them really well and i wondered if you had played them before etc.
What fic do you like reading most? and what fic do you like writing most?

Ah thats cool, you write them both really well. Even if I do want Yukito to jump Touyas bones a lot of the time ;-)
When I first thought about applying to Halfmagic I wasn't sure who I could be but after thinking about it for a while and considering Tomoyo (who I'm told I'm like in RL) I eventually decided on Rika. I like her unique situation with Terada and her maturity so thought it could be fun to play :-) It took me a while though cos I didnt know if I would be any good, but hey I havent been kicked out yet hehe
I think its understandable - you write and read what you know and enjoy. And your T/Y fics bring lots of joy to us fans!

I'd be pretty freaked out if a tree started talking to me but i'd probally be fine oncve I got use to it.
As for a question for you, what place do you defently want to vist before you die?

I love garlic bread! And where in England do you live?
Before I die? Oh man. Greece. I want to stand on a balcony and look out over the Aegean Sea. It's something I've been dreaming about doing since I was 11. I'm seriously debating doing that this summer, but I don't have anyone to travel with ):

If the tree in my backyard started talking to me I would go O__O and hope it didn't end up like the tree in The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein because that book made me cry buckets. And does so every time I read it. adkjldk I am a sap, what can I say?
♥♥
I am also procrastinating. ;)

OMGCHEESECAKE. I'm not too fond of plain cheesecake. My cheesecake needs to have STUFF on it. OMG the Godiva cheesecake at Cheesecake Factory is SO GOOD.
I just like food. Like, all of it. Yeah...
a;ldfja;dlkf ME TOO. *holds*
I am furthering my procrastination. I started today with research and reading for next semester... then I got distracted by Final Fantasy. For like, 4 hours.

I love food and haven't found a favorite yet, although chocolate is very high up there. :)
If my tree started talking to me one day, I'd ask if it would be kind enough to stretch its branches over part of the lawn so I can have some shade in the backyard. And maybe if trees are hermaphrodites. :p
What would you do with the talking tree?

You have no shade in backyard? D:
I would ask it what to do to keep my other plants alive. They keep DYING on me. Well, then there are the plants that just won't stop growing, and they take over my patio and make it a bitch to move things around.

LOL. dude. So my parents went to China and got back the Mon that I went back. So the lawn hasn't been mowed in like 3 weeks and it's RIDICULOUSLY high. It's I think knee high. It's kind of ridiculous.
It's never the plants you want to proliferate the ones that do. Murphy's law I'm afraid.
oh, do you happen to know of any CD's that have like piano relaxation music? or it doesn't have to be piano, but just general instrumental music? My parents want me to dl some and I have NO idea where to start.

So, what are you planning on doing with the rest of your life once you get out of college?
What is your ideal man like?
How many kids?
Are you still going to be into anime, sparkles and yaoi 20 years from now?

I think I'm going to try and do JET for a year (Mr. Fox and the guy that interviewed me at Pomona and Professor Miyake have all "strongly suggested" that I do it). Then I'm not sure... I'm thinking either law school or grad school. I already told you: I'd probably like academia, but I also really want to work in a "real" job. So I don't really know what I'm going to do in terms of a job/career.
Hmm. I don't know about that one. I don't really think about the kind of guy I'd like to date. It's sort of something I assume I'll figure out when I get there, or when I meet them.
2? 3? 2 seems like a perfect number... 3 is good, but then you have the whole middle child thing going on.
Probably. Though it might be a different kind of interest--I'm getting really interested in manga and anime (as cultural phenomenons, etc.) as an academic topic.
