How to Tell If You're Going to Get a Photo of Me With My Finger Up My Nose

This past weekend I decided that henceforth, whenever some random creeper tries to take my photo at NYRF, I am simply going to stick my finger up my nose. This decision was prompted by too many years of having to deal with people who are incredibly rude in their attempts to snap a picture of the cute little fairy. While I agree with many of your points, there is one big issue. As a worker, you are basically part of the attraction, especially since you are not booth-bound. That is why there is a language workshop and dress code. Faire in fact encourages people to take pictures while there (for personal use) up to the point of offering a contest, complete with prizes ( ... )

I'm not asking them not to take photos of me. I'm asking them not to be douchebags about it.

I get particularly offended at the people who bring pro-level equipment and then walk out of the faire without having spent a dime. I don't care how uninformed you are; it's pretty obvious that the faire is a for-profit enterprise, and does not exist for you to photograph.
