The Doctor straightens himself up a bit. Right, so now he has a name for her, at least, even if he knows nothing about her.

"Right, then, Cindy. Suppose you'll be going back to the other me, then?"

A false name is better than nothing, at least when it comes to her. And Amy did draw up on the most obscure one she could think of. Something fitting, in its own way.

"Well, if you're here then he can't be here," she said. "Timelines, and all that. Right?"

"Right," the Doctor replied immediately. He chewed a bit on his lip. "Probably." And chewed a little more. "Possibly."

He nodded towards the door. "Maybe we should take this conversation elsewhere. In case he shows up."

Amy turns to look at the door, then back at him. His face is still unfamiliar, but that hasn't been enough to deter her. Not now.
