Seven years removed from being a student and four from working in education, I still get that odd tinge that I'm supposed to be doing something during this time of year, and not a week goes by without me having a dream that I'm back in school. My mom (a middle/high school math teacher for 35 years), actually left on vacation during back-to-school time the year she retired. That tings hasn't gone away for her either.

You're going to be such a fantastic teacher, Miss Sway. When you decorate that classroom one day, think of me - it's one of the things I've always been sad I missed out on. :)

Shucks, friend, that is so sweet of you to say :) I will of course think of you as I decorate, I'll even send pics! Maybe put up a discreet item of Disney paraphenalia as an homage to you.
