Ahh, this is probably very random and very stalker-esque, but I clicked over to your journal from some comments on an entry in SuFin Sundays (since I saw my username and I am all ego-maniacal like that--and that particular discussion was quite interesting, and its definitely a different experience to have someone writing fic about your fic and trying to resist the temptation to jump in and blather about authorial intent since it totally defeats the point, lol). Anyways, I just have to say that your Netherlands/Belgium picture is so gorgeous. I love it!
What do you call it when two people are stalking each other? Does it cancel out? Double the power? I definitely owe you some comments I can actually get around to making now that I have my ~FABULOUS NEW PINK LAPTOP FUCK YEAH~. I'll go into more detail on the specific fics, but the long and short of it is you (a. love the Nordics, (b. write amazing stuff, (c. write REALLY good smut, (d. like fine beverages, and (e. quoted Auden, all things that mark you as a superior human being. I would have sent you a friend request already if it wouldn't be so out of the blue and "who are you?".
Also, going on about how THE AUTHOR TOTALLY MEANT THIS YOU GUYS WHO HAVE IT ALL WRONG!!1! with little to no justification is one of those internet things I've never thought about seeing from the actual author's perspective. Thanks for the wake-up call before(?) I made too much of an arse of myself. Heh.

Oh, I am so sorry--I definitely did not mean to imply that you were doing that AUTHOR TOTALLY MEANT THIS thing AT ALL! When Katie asked me if she could continue writing Dirty Pop , I was at first all like...hmm, no...but then I thought about it and it seemed so silly not to say yes, since this is all borrowed land anyways, but it is definitely a little weird to then read a story that goes in a different direction from where I would have gone...had I actually taken the trouble to write it, LOL.
Well, I can see why you wouldn't take it down! I love Belgium and the Netherlands, (being half Dutch myself) and I love great sibling relationships, and I would love to try and write them one day!

I agree. My all time favorite is still Walt Whitman, but an English course opened my eyes to the wonderfulness of Auden and got me hooked quite strongly. It's a bit trite to say, but his poetry really speaks to me.
I didn't think you were, however upon reflect I realized I was doing it and treading too close to the waters of superiority for my comfort. I am a die-hard practitioner of the totally real and not invented by me faith of ~Nordicism~, and as a result a world where SuFin and DenNor don't exist in beautiful harmony is inconceivable to me. But I shouldn't force that upon others.
