I heard from my record company that Tegoshi Yuya-san performed Kurenai on a TV program, and the performance for some reason also threw me into the limelight. So I took the opportunity to watch his performance.
It was a dedicated and
Passionate performance
He met the challenge head-on
With deep feelings of respect
He had a refreshing rock spirit that
Was not held captive by anything
And which seemed to free all those listening from their restraints
It was a soulful and splendid performance
From which I could feel very strongly, that he is really cool
Yesterday night, I announced my new project
My first solo art exhibition as Ryugen Toshi (Translator's Note: ToshI-san's other stage name)
Masquerade Exhibition
Drawings from the world of sound
Challenging something new
Is fun and enjoyable
But it also brings about
Feelings of doubt
Of hesitation
Of loss of direction
But Tegoshi Yuya-san's performance
Freed me from those negative emotions
Made me feel that I should break free of my shell
That I should be free to invest my heart and soul into my art!
It ignited the rock spirit in me
And made it burn strong and bright!
I wish for Tegoshi Yuya-san to know
That I am very grateful to him
For inspiring me
From now on
I will play on!!
