lol. Your a good storyteller roommate. When I open my sensational little book store (like that one in "You've got Mail") you must come and tell stories.
Isn't it incredible how much destruction one little animal can cause? Not once but twice one of my cats brought live but stunned birds into the house. There's nothing like trying to wrestle an injured bird away from a cat that thinks its particpating in a very fun game. Once after I rescued a poor bird from the cat it jumped on the window ledge and knocked over a few plants spilling mounds of potting soil on the kitchen floor. I believe I called my mom at work and started to cry.
I definitely called my mom after that incident. I was so frustrated with that cat. But she was in the middle of bible study. Instead of putting her phone on silent and letting me leave a message like I planned, she answered and just explained to her group, "cat." Little brat of a kitten. He's more destructive than any puppy we've had. But he's so dang cute. I just want to squeeze the living outta him.
