Let's hear it for that tub. And for those of us who had to kneel if we wanted to take a shower in it because the shower head was so low it came to just below the collar bone. And to whoever it was that dyed their hair red in it leaving great permanent stains that I could never get out though I cleaned it every day. And while we're at it, to Caroline, the lovely freshman whose mother never taught her to flush ;) And to Birdy - whose clever journal entries kept our bathroom stalls more bearable.
Sadly the tub is no more. When Em, Katie and I traipsed around Houghton a month ago we discovered a large sink and mirror in its stead. So much for the old days and the old ways ;)

Gasp!! Quel domage. And yes, lovely Caroline. And her damn loud music at 2am. Sometimes i miss dorm life...and sometimes I dont. But I always miss Alice Grace :)
unfortunately, no, but funny you should bring kramer up. i had the same reaction. this quote is taken from my 9/1/04 entry - one of the first days in my apartment.
"Last night I faced a unique quandrum (quandary + conundrum). You see, I needed to take a shower, but before I could take a shower, I needed to do the dishes. This is because the dirty dishes were in the tub, which is where I wash them. I ended up taking a page from the Kramer book, and multitasking: dishes AND shower, simultaneously. Brilliant. If I only had a food processor in there..."

I'm so distraught to hear that shower has been torn out. I scrubbed it many a time. And it was really the only good one for shaving.
