I have only just this afternoon got round to updating here, amidst partying, working at the bookstore, attending some lectures and catching up on sleep. I am hoping there is enough afternoon left for a late lunch followed by some charity shop browsing and tasty food shopping...Drank rather alot of wine last night with some friends, and ended up ( Read more... )

Ah yes, apologies for my slowness!

Yes, this is definitely what these dreams communicate to me. I believe this is not a negative sign for me...although somewhat dramatic in places. The past few months have been a cosntant cycle of change and newness, all rather aligning with the philosophy that: 'it never rains, but it pours'! Any negativity here is mostly in the adjustment and realisation of these occurrences...

I hope you are finding your changes agreeable. :)

I used to be fascinated by the Mayan calandar, and met a woman who painted these beautiful calendars with glyphs and lots of info so you could follow the cycles as they passed. I wish I still had that here, I would scan it so you could see it.
I have a really interesting link about it somewhere that I will dig up for you tonight when I get home.
That event sounds like the best fun! I used to be able to do an all-nighter...not these days, but I do remember how much fun those types of events can be.
Brought back memories, esp taking photos of each other tired on the way home, hahahahha.
Feel free to post in the old dream community if you still feel so inclined (and have the time)
I want to use it so haven't deleted it.
Will have to check out Kangaroo Moon.

You seem to have met many interesting people with direct links to fascinating traditions. I am envious! There were some wall-paintings of the Mayan calendar at the festival, and glyphs I have never seen before. It sparked a new curiousity...So much curiosity! lol. My friend found her Mayan birth number (or something?) in consultation with someone at the festival. I think mine is '57' but I am not entirely sure...I read it, in a slgihtly stoned state, in a leaflet we picked up...Again, something else to look into...Oh how the list grows ( ... )

You are very correct there! It is quite bizarre how close-range we have been, geographically...And the source being livejournal. What a wonderfully mad world we live in! Perhaps we'll meet someday :)

I hope fun is being had...I shall head over to your journal shortly...
