What do your husband's girlfriend and your girlfriend become to your children? Step-mums?

Step-mum or Aunt I would say.

I vote for Aunties. A step-mum is someone who is involved with raising a child from a young age and acting as a parent, not just someone who is involved with one of the parents. I say this as someone whose dad remarried when I was well into adulthood, and she is "my dad's wife" not my step-mum!

If one of the "aunties" moves in with you and plays an active role in taking care of the little ones then she can be a step-mum.
