Both my babies are poorly with colds. Not fun :(

That is scary...we don't have that medicine here (i had not heard of the medicine in it before -paracetamol) but they have started telling us in the past few years to stop giving kids cold/cough medicines because they can be harmful and don't really do anything to help.

Wow that is worrying :(

jhoc- paracetamol is known as Tylenol in some places or acetaminophen or Anacin-3,

That article actually makes me feel better because I am very very sparing with the tylenol with my kids (and myself). I've had a few peds who supported sparing use and said its better for them to let the fever do its job but I've taken a lot of flack from others who think we all should take something at the first sign of fever/aches/whatever. If the fever is below 102 F, I avoid giving them anything but we will do a warm bath or sponging or something to make them feel better. I prolly give it too much for teething, though, because my boys are bears when it comes to that LOL
