So basically, yesterday I didn't do shit. I started my period yesterday. Woke up, went to the bathroom to go pee && basically found out the hard way. Thanks for sharing? Your very welcome. Their are times that I just wish so much to be able to snap my fingers and get catered and served by a magical genie.
Also, I can't stand not having hot water. It could be 100 degrees out, but I still need hot water to shower.
Oh, and the Phoenix anime, I think it was called "Hi no Tori" originally. Its a collection of short stories all revolving round the Phoenix.

It is pretty hard to find the full series, but you cab try veoh. They often have a lot of anime, even older stuff on their site.

Dude, I feel your pain. We got our house repiped a year ago and I couldn't shower for a little over a week. I had to wash my hair in the pool. Dx

Thank God, someone else who can related! Unlucky for me, I have no pool. So I had to resort to going to friends' houses to wash mahself.

Ugh. Periods are horrible.

Most anime has European/American-looking characters because the "founders" of anime were influenced heavily by Walt Disney. Given how only Phoenix is, that influence is probably even more present.

I've seen the first few episodes of Phoenix, and it probably seems odd because it's the formula for classic ancient legends-- each episode always has a moral behind it and the majority of it I saw was based around the fatality of immortality, which is something many other myths touch upon.

Ah, I see. I kinda figured as much. Oh, good old Walt. I only got a chance to get a peek at it, it was on one of my old Newtype USA DVD's. :]

I guess it's just very very rare for me to find a Japanese animation where the characters don't look like your normal anime. Very rare indeed. But I find it interesting how ever episode tells different stories with different characters.

Makes it easier I guess.
