I'm feeling very qualm: about the term "wax poetic".

Here's why:

Wax [verb] trans.
1. informal Make a recording of.

Poetic
adjective
of, relating to, or used in poetry
• Having an imaginative or sensitively emotional style of expression.

I saw this term in this weeks issue of Real Detroit Weekly on, of course, the "framed" page, and it was someone's attempt at being witty when describing Brandon ( Read more... )

Yeah, Real Detroit stinks.

I pick it up just to...."anger up the blood", as Abe Simpson once said.
