Faith is curled up in her bed, clinging to her pillow and trying VERY hard not to cry.

She kissed Xander's cheek, because she's crushing terribly on him, but she has no hope whatsoever of his returning her feelings.

So, she's afraid this marks the end of their friendship.

She's a silly Faith.

Xander stops in front of her door. His hand is kind of shaking a lot, but he manages to knock on the door.

"Faith?" He asks, then bites on his bottom lip and scuffs his feet on the floor. "Faith, are you there? Uh, c- can I come in?"

SQUEAK.

"......Uh. O...okay," Faith says, peering out from the covers. "If you want."

Xander's glad that she's here, because there's too many places to look in the Inn and he'd... get lost and never catch up with her and then Lily and Mimi would ensure his death. He opens the door and walks inside.

"Faith?" Xander sees the expression on her face as she peers out from the covers and something inside him melts. He walks over to her and kneels by her bed. "Faith... are you okay? ...I didn't realize kissing me's such a mortifying thing..." He grins and chuckles a little to try to take away their nervousness. "I liked that... you did that, y'know? That you kissed me."
