I desperately wanted an Easy Bake Oven. Of course, they didn't hesitate to buy one for my niece when she came along. The best part is that when I pointed out the injustice, my mom said she had been sure that I'd had one.

Why am I not surprised that you wanted an Easy Bake Oven? ;) Reading through the answers to that question, many people had that as a response. I guess I was a strange girl child in that I never had the desire to own one.

I also wanted a chemistry set, but I never got that, either. I did get a microscope in middle school, though.
