How does it feel to be back? Maybe too soon to tell? I've never been away for more than a couple of weeks in a place where i couldn't freely speak the language but even at that length, though I didn't mind, I still felt very chatty when I returned home, like "I can communicate so easily with random people, yay!"
(I've been a bit AWOL lately, part of the ceiling of my apt fell in, landlord is an ass...)
That obnoxiously said to say that I miss you. But hey now we both operate on the same time zone. and it feels...weird. very weird. kind of like I never left. which is a strange feeling.
I'm still in the same place, just trying to figure out what to do. Now there's an ugly, inadequate patch in the ceiling covering only part of the hole and some support boards holding it up, and a bunch of rubble still behind some heavy stuff I have yet to find the time and energy to move. I've actually lived under way worse conditions and this apt has always been something of a dump but I'm really getting fed up with paying to live in a slum. This kind of lifestyle wasn't so bad when I was younger but I have a lot more stuff now. Plus it's possibly dangerous. (comes after my worry about all my collected crap. LOL!)
Yeah, it's weird how the past recedes so quickly. The concept of "now" is so weird when you consider it.
