modeling is lame anyway. you can't make any real money unless you do high fashion..and that's REALLY hard to get into. and most of the time if you get rejected, there's nothing you can do about it cuz it would be for something you couldn't control like how tall you are or something. don't be a silly model :)
I wouldnt call it lame. I would say it is just a hard business to get into. Trust me I know about the not tall enough thing. I have interviewed with so many and of course I always I want to go with the top run way ones. Which for me is not the place to be looking. But I just figured start small. Then go big.
I love modeling, but there are so many other fullfilling things you can do along with it. I also participate in musical theater, and am planning to get my bachelor's degree in interior design. Hopefully I can start some gothique decore boutique or something. Anyway, I know you'll do well with whatever you choose, hun.
We must meet up.. I love modeling but I really want to do interior design. I am sure we would get along just fine and come up with some crazy designs xoxo
I agreee. Plus, we could make OODLES OF MONEY! Just for looking at someone's home, you can make $200. :-) I'm sure you knew that though. I know we'd get along well. Judging by your interests and style, you would make a perfect friend.
there are upsides to those normal jobs with shitty pay. maybe it's the quality of the people, or it's just how small those places are...but even if you don't like some people it becomes like a little family. (i know there are people in my family i don't like). in the higher paying places you end up once face amongst many and you don't get that same feel. i work in a vintage clothes shop and we're small but it's much better that way. ;)
I know there are upsides. I work in a small coffee shop and I have so much fun with the girls there and we get together and go out to dinner, go shopping. We are like a little family, but at the same time I still have to pay bills and most the time in small places the money is not the best.
