Faith rapped at Vanya's door, holding the CD she'd burned for her for Christmas. She wasn't really aware of the cloud of rumour, just she'd checked her journal from the library, seen that she was back in town, and came to visit at the first opportunity. "Knock knock..."

She'd been feeling good enough that day to sit up and do some of the homework she ought to have done a week ago. The knock interrupted her reading about Magical History, but Vanya didn't mind. As much as she liked studying, she'd been rather looking forward to some company from her last friend.

"Come in, Faith. The door is open."

Faith opened the door and ducked in, all smiles. "Hey there, how goes it?" She let the door swing shut behind her and wrapped the sitting girl in a hug.

The sudden hug took Vanya by surprise; it wasn't something she'd expected, especially not after the kiss and the near break-up between Faith and Daatu she'd caused. She couldn't help but to lean against Faith, feeling warm and safe in her strong arms.

"Better," the Seer replied. She hesitated for a moment before she returned the hug. "How have you been?"
