I was worried about how i was going to finish my son's Halloween costume. How I was going to get through pain and do things i was obligated to do. This was all before I got the text message this morning that told me that a person I cared for more deeply then i knew passed away. It's weird. I know that feeling, and it sucks. I keep telling my boyfriend how awesome my stepmom was and I get a sad, sinking feeling in my gut every time I think that she won't be here to see me married, or here to see me have kids.

I can't be there to give you a hug, but I'm thinking about you and sending lots of good thoughts. Remember. Grieve. Live.
