i am so unbelievably tired. yesterday was hardwork. we left for the field at 9 and didn't get back until like 1.  i was working with jose (who believe it or not is the former president of costa rica) and we got assigned to work in the forest meaning we had to wade through about 4 foot of snow to get there. and snow shoes? snow shoes are RUBBISH. so i'm in the arctic and er, it's fucking cold! completely amazing though, i cannot believe i am here!!!!! the train ride was amazing, i was on there for 40 hours and it was so much fun! i chatted to my fellow passengers, read my book, ate surprisingly good food for a train and i showered.
