Michael

I don't think anyone truly realizes how much Michael's death has affected me. I adored that man. I had no reason really to publicly state this as he hadn't done much prior to the O2 announcement of his final concerts but - I adored him. Brian swung by tonight and we talked Michael and how absolutely amazing he was and how his was easily the best ( Read more... )

That was nice. :) *hugs*

I'm guilty of drinking Coke, but Pepsi's always been better. :P

It tastes too much like cola LOL, if that makes any sense. All the non-main brand colas taste similar to Coke which I've always found interesting; I don't get why I've never had anything like Pepsi. I realize that doesn't make any point, but I felt like mentioning it. xP I still will drink Coke & Colas, but idk, Pepsi is just better. I wish I had one of each right now to compare, but oh well. xP

:)

B/c Pepsi's formula is based on sweeteners rather than sugar? :P I honestly don't like Pepsi because it tastes fake. It leaves a bitter aftertaste which is ewww. This is why I often have lemonade or something at Pizza Hut. I'll only take Pepsi if I'm desperate lol Maybe all the name brand cola's use natural sugar too? Maybe it's cheaper than the sweeteners? idk lol *is totally guessing* :P

I know there's a lot of negative and hateful things being said right now and I'm sorry you have to hear/read them :( I've never been a huge Michael fan myself though I certainly respect and appreciate his talents. I can't say I know all that much about him either but I always take with a grain of salt the stuff in the media because we all know how that goes.

I swear I remember that commercial! I don't know how many Pepsi commercials he did though. Lol, and that kid was Carlton from Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. I still laugh when I think of the Carlton dance :P

And btw, Coke Zero FTW! :D

Yeah, the media have always bashed Michael for some reason; especially since 1987ish onwards. I utterly loathe tabloids and much media and I rarely if ever believe a word they say about anything tbh. There's always too much spin and it's always negative. I'm so glad journalism was incorporated in my media course b/c it confirmed what I'd always thought - with rare exceptions, it's a disgusting profession overall; especially these days where everything is less about getting a good story and more about money than anything else. The lies and truth twisting will never cease to baffle me. I honestly don't know how many of them sleep at night. I really don't.

He did quite a few commercials for Pepsi. It was the height of the Cola wars so many were excellent. Actually, I remember Pepsi always seemed to manage to sign the biggest stars and it irked me b/c I prefer Coke :P iirc Coke gave up and went the Classic route eventually and left out big name stars altogether. I never watched the Fresh Prince of Bel Air For some reason Will Smith has ( ... )
