When I see movies like this I wonder if it's a parody or if it's real, because the difference is honestly-said becoming increasingly-nonexistent

This guy runs the Westboro Baptist Church. You can take a look at their website at www.godhatesfags.com.

This church is the Worst of the Worst of all churches. This is the same church that sends its followers to protest funerals of gay people, or even funerals of American servicemen killed in action.

I am sad that there are people like this out there. But they are not common. They anger even most other Bible-thumping evangelical fundamentalists.

The Westboro Baptist Church is not even recognized as an official church by most orginizations. They are a bunch of Kansas inbreds with nothing but time on there hands. They make their money thru frivilous lawsuits. The WHOLE family is a bunch of lawayers. They are not representative of American religion... not yet. Give it time though is what i fear ;\

They are a church for legal purposes - the whole tax-exemption thing works. Phelps saw to that - hateful as he is, he was a very skilled lawyer, and his family includes a lot of lawyers who are just as good
