Eldar is highly technologically advanced. I suppose that our spacecrafts are our greatest achievement so far, but there's a wide range of technology where I come from, with all sorts of purpose.

To a certain extent. Most of them work in the factories making equipment. Occasionally we need them for their processing ability, but genetic modification is helping us catch up to their ability to process information.
