I haven't seen any that have fallen, but I'll enjoy the show from above! It's a beautiful distraction, if nothing else.

It is quite beautiful. I've never seen one quite so vivid before.

Neither have I. I have seen one or two shooting stars in my time before, but never this brilliant display.

...the barrier would keep them out, wouldn't it? So, there might not be anything to find.

Something like this is incredibly unusual. I don't think anyone's seen anything quite like it.

I would assume so, but I was curious to see if that theory was incorrect.

Is it really that big of a deal?

Only if we cross the path of a comet that doesn't break up in the atmosphere, really.

Guess so, but shouldn't the barrier take care of things?

The barrier would likely protect us, but from what depends on the size of the meteor that hits us.

I'm well, Faize. Feel free to come over any time that's convenient for you.

That is good news. I'll be over shortly.

[A little longer than usual, but has a Faize.]

[Has an Edward, he's chilling out in front of the house, leaning against the outer wall.]

[And Faize is here with a bit of a smile.]

Hello, Edward. Is it alright if I check up on a few things here?

Were there meteor showers often on Earth?

Do you think we could find a piece if we looked for one?

faizedout June 8 2009, 03:50:13 UTC
The barrier is most likely keeping them all out, but it would be great if we could find one.

What do you think it would look like? I bet it's really shiny, like some kind of gemstone.
