Russel is frustrated. His girlfriend and brother are gone and Poison Ivy is a thorn that he can't do much about.

...Russel is nearing the end of the line, I think. I'm not as confident about his voice anymore, and I'm just having trouble thinking of new things for him to do. I don't want to drop him because I've ALWAYS HAD HIM, but if I were to drop someone...it's possible he would go.
Nokoru

Nokoru has always been kind of impotent in camp. But he is a character of crack and he has usually found a lackey to help him out in camp, so he's in a good place--especially now that he has a secretary to be his straight man. It's par for the course for him to pop up randomly without really getting close to more than one or two people.

I love Nokoru, but I have trouble with him sometimes. Things are a little hectic for me at the moment but my plan is to canon review again and see what happens. It's always a little hard for me to work with threads were people just come up and start reaming him out. I have to have a certain amount of energy to play him, and as a result I've entertained the idea of dropping him rather often--but then something fun happens and I hold on. Like the speed dating.

Izumi is feeling better IC. She's got her boys, she has a good crew in the mess hall, things are good. The random insane events happening in her kitchen don't get to her as much anymore.

After she went on vacation I sat down and worked through my issues with her, and she's doing much better. My only regret right now with her is that I dropped her fight thread with Nike (eheh oops). I need to have her interact with her surrogate kids more. Overall, not going to be dropped anytime soon.

Imoen has been swinging between normalcy and her Bhaalspawn weirdness a little more wildly lately. For the most part, though, she's happy because she has her witch.

Imoen is fun and easy to play, and I'm still entertained by the way her voice works; her mental state changes it so often but there's a formula to it. I've been using her familiar as a handy intervention tool for her RAAAAAH BHAALSPAWN moments, and it makes me feel more comfortable playing with that aspect of her character. And as a result I feel happier with her characterization overall. Spunky thief/mage is not getting dropped anytime soon.

I feel so bad because Marvin STILL hasn't interacted with Arthur. Ahaha. I don't feel confident in his voice, and should probably drop him because I always feel horribly repetitive with him...but he is fun, and he lets me do a lot of precious stuff. Such as the recent thread in which the lawyers found him moping in the trash. Might drop sometime, but don't want to.

Jaina has lots of engineering projects and she's met plenty of people who share the various things she's enthusiastic about. She gets a little frustrated that not many people want her messing with their tech, but this is normal in canon too, so it doesn't get to her too much. She's got some kind of crush going on Aerrow. She's a Young Jedi Knight, she's cool.

Agrias' life in camp is rapidly growing complicated as she gets to know the FFXII Ivalice crew. But complicated in a good way. She respected Ashelia and is actually starting to become socute knights with Basch. I-it's hard not to ship them. She worries about Ovelia and hates on Delita, both of which is normal for her no matter what happens (but I would still love to get an Ovelia to worry about in camp! :D)

I'm still having fun with Agrias and all I really worry about is getting the formal voice right. Agrias is safe from dropping.

Molly is enjoying the perks of hanging out with the hobowizards, and she's having some fun. She's also still getting some of the "omg what D:" that she should be. Also hot foreign wizard boyfriend-thing. She's kind of worried about him being in a coma and all.

Molly's cool, I just need to bring her activity back up a little. I've got a few posts I really want to do with her--a princess thing, a post where she continues her canon shielding practice with snowballs, and a post in which she continues her canon potion-making antics. There's just a ton of stuff I haven't tapped with her yet because I haven't posted with her a bunch. Also want to get back to interacting with cast some more. But safe from dropping, especially if I let Wiccan go.

This is kind of a day in the life of Kyle Katarn...except easier because there aren't any dark jedi. Why don't we have any dark jedi? Someone app some dark jedi. Kyle wants a Correlian ale, too, dammit.

Kyle is very easy to play because much of his character him being fuck yeah awesome all while he's going "yeah I'm just an average guy." The hard part with him is that I don't want to get him into any fights despite that being another big thing for him...because he's either powerful to the point of being unfair, or he doesn't have any attacks that work on the opponent so there's no contest, with very little ground in between the two extremes. So far I've just put him in losing battles because he can handle the loss...I'd like to work out a nice way to handle this better, but to be honest I enjoy Kyle chilling around being a guy so much that I don't care too much about it. He and Vlad'll just have to go blow some things up for Kyle's property damage quota. XD Safe from dropping, but I really need to kick myself into gear and get him posting with all those covert ops class ideas I have.

Para-medic is having tons of fun! THERE'S ALL THESE NEW MOVIES TO WATCH AND LOTS OF STRANGE THINGS TO EXAMINE AND AND. She wishes Snake were still in camp, though. And that she could have gotten him under the mistletoe with her.

Para-medic is currently my primary. There's just so many things for her to give lectures on that are cracky and hilarious. She's always a blast to play and I just hope that no one minds when she comes swooping in with things like BLAH BLAH BLAH EAT THIS BEAR BLAH BLAH. I should probably do a post in her journal asking for people who won't mind her doing science to them. She and Ocelot still need to do a Patriot Movie Night post. DEFINITELY NOT DROPPING.

I just got hired to work a desk job at a newspaper, so I'm going to be moving and working about four to midnight EST, five days a week. This means a major change in my typical playing schedule...after, y'know. The whole business of moving and getting internet and everything. After this weekend I'm probably going to go on a hiatus to move/get settled in and everything. Once I'm back from that the job changing the time I'm around to play will give me a great opportunity to rework any balance and activity issues I've been having. I'll probably cut back on paid accounts, but whatever.
