Okay, I should probably be working on something, and I'm trying not to think at all right now because it'd mean making decisions about whether or not I want to shell out money to keep up Russel's icons, and I'm incredibly tired and generally unmotivated and rambling and quite possibly redundant ( Read more... )

As the green light faded, Russel straightened and looked over the results of his transmutation. The alchemist smiled, seeing that the corn stalk had turned out perfectly.

Heather approached it, twisting an ear of corn off. Starting to pull the husk off, she asked, “So if there’s no problems with this one, we’ll go ahead and make the rest of the row, right?”

The alchemist nodded. “Looks like there weren’t any problems, though.”

Chuckling, Heather held out the corn she had finished husking. Underneath the husk, it was blue. “I’m no botanist, but I don’t think it’s normally that color.”

Of course, blue or not Heather'd go have Excel shove it down her throat and see if it's fine other than the color.

Russel glanced up from the mess of papers scattered over his desk. “Oh, hey, Ari. I’m studying the effects of Hydroxysuccinic acid on Trilead Biscarbonate Dihydroxide in a contained environment of-“

“Chemistry huh?”

Russel smiled weakly. “Yeah, chemistry.”

“That’s…neat. I guess.”

“Well…” The chemist put down his pen. “I can think of a few things you might like about chemistry.” Ari looked up, curious, in time to have his hair ruffled. “I’ve heard people compare chemistry and alchemy to cooking. Let’s head down to the kitchen and study to composition of chocolate cakes.”

“…….YES lets.”

“It was supposed to be simple,” explained Russel. “The Meer Campbell Fan Club, that is. The attendance was actually pretty high at the beginning of the meeting, but we just kept…losing people. I’m not sure why, but by the end of the meeting, there was just…two. Ari and I.”

Meer brought her teacup up to cover her smile. “Russel, it’s okay if they’ve got more fans than me. You don’t need to kick people out for caring more about them.” Russel blushed and looked pointedly into his own teacup, but he could still see her breasts reflected in the liquid.

...Spines revive dead people? If only the FMA cast knew that so long ago?

It doesn't bode well for drabble-writing that I didn't even know Tot interacted much with the Mazoku peoples, does it.

Russel gave Wes a wicked grin, and shifted, handing him a notebook. “You’ll need to hold onto this.” Wesley swallowed nervously, taking it. “Something bothering you, Wes?”

Wesley held the notebook above his head, and tried to move away from Russel, but seemed to have backed himself into a corner. “I thought you wanted me to come help you with something.”

“Yes?”

“And what part of that involved pulling me into the onsen fully clothed?”

Russel, in all her naked, genderswapped glory, leaned into Wesley and kissed him. “This.”

“B-but Anne-“

Russel winked. “I’m just getting my notebook from you.”
