Don't know why I didn't check this before, but...

Comments posted in my journal by both limeststation and damnsurfers have the same IP address. Big whoop, they live in the same house. They also appear to live in the same house in New Jersey, which, conveniently, is the same place violetsahasrara also calls "home".
A quick search for her name (which was thoughtfully included on her Read more... )

You know, I meant to ask Mazey to check her email IP and I never did. Glad you thought of it! I shall make the entries public now.

Score one for pasdeschiens!

I just wish it hadn't ended like that, y'know? So ...simple. There are PROXIES for that sort of thing, people! Post entries through proxies!

But yeah. Wish it hadn't ended like that.

Shhhhh...don't tell them about the proxies. It makes it harder to crack them!

BTW it looks like you have to de-private your own entries, so please do so when you have time. And good on ya figuring that one out.

Oh dear god.
There it is.
The awful truth that I hoped didn't exist, yet couldn't stop searching for.

ha.
I'm so melodramatic.

Thank you for all your detective work.

It's time for me to close the book as well.

Oh my
I had to read over this about 5 times for it to really sink in. They were made up? Dear God, how could anyone be that heartless as to make up two people's lives and allow people to get close to them, allow them to be real and so impactful on their lives, then rip them away, and it's all FAKE? This is sad.

I think I suspected this all along. The suspicious way in which the entries started and the melodramatic manner in which they ended were kind of giveaways, but as long as these were just bread crumb trails I was willing to believe in the myth of the sensitive soul who lived and died awesomely even for a fictional character. Anyway, I'll take this as a lesson to not believe anything that is too good to be true. By the way, what got you started on the trail of the mystery? Did you also think it was too good an ending....?

that's hysterical!

i'm good friends with violetsahasrara; went to school with her for the past four years. Kudos, nat - it really was a great story, but I'm glad that I bought out when I did - quite a while ago. Kind of weird to drag it into real life, but... eh. It gave us something to conspire about last year :)

In the future, though, try to make this kind of thing... smaller. When you have so many people buying into it it can be kind of hurtful. People we know were crying when Craig 'died', and to bring people along to that point...

When Flashman "died", rhyein had friends who were calling in sick to sit with her while she cried. People are sick, sick, sick. Glad to have you here.

Ah, good old Flashman... my whole family's a pretty big fan. I haven't read nearly enough of the stuff.
