but this community is more than about you. many of us have been taken in by various fake lj'ers either emotionally, financially, spiritually, or a mixture of all. it's a place for people to see if their worst hunch is true about someone they met or are talking to online.

Link to the comment? After all, we can't judge if it's real or not if we can't see it. In case you missed it on the other thread, putting someone's username, handle, email address, AIM name, or whatever else they choose to put online into Google isn't really stalking the person:
